

Hi! We're the McReynolds Family. As 8th & 9th generation Texans, our heritage is steeped in southern tradition and a trailblazing spirit that transcends time. We value Faith, Family, & good nutritions Food ~ which collectively forged our path to the heart of middle Tennessee.

In 2021, we purchased our family farm, and moved to Bedford County. We planted Texas seed into Tennessee dirt, and literally could not contain the harvest. It wasn't long before the eldest of our 5 children was sittin' on the tailgate of his '77 ford pick up sellin' turnip greens and other homegrown goodness to neighbors & now friends.

In 2023, then 19 year old Andrew McReynolds established and opened Alley BBQ - a Texas style BBQ joint in downtown Bell Buckle. Since that time, our family has worked together to provide authentic craft meats including brisket, pork, chicken, turkey, & salmon, slow smoked over locally sourced hardwoods and only seasoned with salt and pepper. We've also become known for our unique to Tennessee Texas sides & desserts like mayonaise based slaw, bbq beans, german potato salad & our famous smoked pecan pie.

2025 brought with it saddles packed for new horizons, so we closed our doors at 13 Webb Rd. East in Historic Bell Buckle, and today Alley BBQ Catering & Events operates exclusively from our family farm along Bell Buckle Creek. We currently cater events like "Family Dinner Nights," Breakfast at the Barn, Dinner by the Creek, and Ballads & BBQ.
